JANET CHINENYE EZE (Founder)

Over 10 million children are out of school in Nigeria and we need to urgently tackle this crises. On the (date) I visited the correctional center for adolescents and it sparked up my passion as I noticed a huge gap that urgently needs to be filled. A strata that needs to be given attention because they would be a part of the sustainable society we are trying to build. And we must factor in and prioritize the vulnerable. Ages between 7 and 17 are pivotal as this is where habits are formed, characters are built and values are shaped; the future of innovation and development lies on the shoulders of this generation, hence my call to enhance the spread of education through reaching out to the marginalized adolescents.. The next generation is important as we model our plans to drive sustainable development and to achieve the SDG Goals largely depends on the quality of education we give to the children of this generation. Our team recently paid a visit to Juvenile correctional centers in Lagos State, aiming to provide inspiration and deliver free books, a part of our ongoing efforts. This experience served as a catalyst for us to develop a structured framework. Drawing upon our extensive prior experiences and incorporating best practices, we adopted a data-driven approach to refine our models and methods for reaching out to these adolescents. Our goal is to establish a sustainable program marked by quantifiable impacts. Our vision revolves around the empowerment of thousands of adolescents who, in turn, become mentors for others. We are committed to closely monitoring the processes, rigorously evaluating the impact, and continuously fine-tuning our strategies through a series of projects and initiatives. Our ultimate aim is to drive sustainable change that extends its positive influence well beyond the borders of Nigeria, ultimately leading to an increased number of educated and empowered adolescents.
